The Official Move Blog Entry…

31 03 2008

So we have decided that we are going to move out of the “oh so spectacular” state of Indiana that we are currently in (sarcasm intended). I apologize to those that really like it here and consider this their permanent home. The state (as my employer) has screwed me one too many times and I’m done. If you are a current state employee… run! Well only if you are not happy with where you are at. I hate when an employer promises you one thing but delivers another and then doesn’t even have to balls to show and prove what they are accusing someone of. That’s the way the “No Fault” laws work. Indiana is good at pointing fingers and then saying… “No Fault! You have no right to see your determination! You have no right to diddly friggin’ squait!” So anywho….

We are going back to Tennessee. Yes you read that right. We are going to be moving back the the great state of Tennessee. Laid back summers with sweet tea and humidity.  HA!

I will be on the look out for a job. I’ve already put in for some down that way, but that is just a start. So if anyone that reads this knows of any please let me know. Yes.. PLEASE PLEASE let me know!

Ok.. I’m out for now….

Insecurity..

16 09 2007

Insecurity is a feeling of general unease or nervousness that may be triggered by perceiving oneself to be unloved, inadequate or worthless.

A person who is insecure lacks confidence in their own value and capability, trust in themselves or others, or has fears that a present positive state is temporary and will let them down and cause them loss or distress by “going wrong” in future.

As insecurity can be distressing and feel threatening to the psyche, insecurity can often be accompanied by a controlling personality type or avoidance, as psychological defence mechanisms.

Insecurity can be overcome. It takes time and patience and a willingness to believe each person (and specifically oneself) is in fact of innate value. — Source: Wikipedia

While browsing…

17 07 2007

Sometimes when you’re bored and just browsing the net you can come across pictures and articles that just make sense. I mean that make so much sense that something like it would never happen. It’s too simple that no one would put into action.

Here on the left is a small clipping from what I gather is a “write in” type forum for a newspaper in Douglas County in the state of Oregon.

Being a tax payer I can say that I totally agree with these statements.

Have a good day!

Oh yeah… BTW.. please pay a visit to Mayor Buckwheat and sign up for his weekly newsletter “Scraps From My Table“. I think you’ll be glad you did! ;)
